This Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion program offered by Curtin University by Open Universities Australia will enable you to develop your education and training in the major principles and issues of health promotion and the process of planning, implementing and evaluating health promotion programs in various settings.
Studying this course, you will learn about the current isses in optimising health and the prevent of disease. You will also learn about project planning, the use of media and advocacy and communication.
To be eligible for this degree you must have a bachelor degree or equivalent in a health related background.
Open Universities courses are offered in specific study intakes every year, known as Study Periods or Sessions. This means more flexibility as you can choose when to start studying.
If you are studying undergraduate units you can start at the beginning of any of the four Study Periods each year, each lasting 13 weeks. Most postgraduate courses are offered in three Sessions per year, with each Session lasting 14 weeks.
Exams are usually held in the week following the end of each Study Period or Session.
