About this unit

Human Health involves the study of the science behind the human body’s many functions. It covers the chemistry and biology behind the various components within the body, including how different limbs, organs and glands are structured and how they operate.

Delivered by online by Open Universities Australia and the University of South Australia, the unit explores how different lifestyles affect the efficiency of each component of the human body. Cover the workings of the nervous, cardiorespiratory, muscular and skeletal systems to gain an understanding of how each interacts to form the basis of human health.
