About this course

The Master of Health Industry Management program is designed to develop an understanding of health industry management with a workplace focus. The course will enable you to:

  • Improve your ability to manage change in the workplace
  • Enhance your skills and knowledge in key areas of relevance to today's health industry, particularly the impact of new technologies
  • Facilitate progress to industry leadership
  • Develop strategies for immediate application

Eligibility

To be eligible for this course you must have an undergraduate degree or 5 years relevant experience.

Study periods

Open Universities courses are offered in specific study intakes every year, known as Study Periods or Sessions. This means more flexibility as you can choose when to start studying.

If you are studying undergraduate units you can start at the beginning of any of the four Study Periods each year, each lasting 13 weeks. Most postgraduate courses are offered in three Sessions per year, with each Session lasting 14 weeks.

Exams are usually held in the week following the end of each Study Period or Session.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
