Employees are central to an organisation's success, regardless of the industry or the discipline. This Advanced Recruitment and Selection unit from Open Universities Australia and Griffith University engages students with the policies and practices that enable organisations to recruit the best possible employees.
Students will develop expertise in the areas of recruitment and selection, from the viewpoint of a human resource practitioner or business manager. Students will develop integrated knowledge of the principles of recruitment, which runs from the early stages of staff planning, through to the induction and socialisation of new employees. There is also an opportunity to explore employer branding, as well as the skills needed to assess job markets.
