About this course

The Dual Diploma of IT and IT Systems Administration (ICT50115 & ICT50315) course is an online course tailored to distance education delivery. By the end of the course, you will have attained two diploma level qualifications covering a broad base of IT support technologies and methodologies, as well as administration concepts and methodologies.

Completing the Diploma of IT component will provide you with the fundamentals of IT support, giving you the skills and conceptual toolset to develop solutions to tackle IT support issues in small-to-medium enterprise (SME) environments. The Diploma of IT Systems Administration component puts you in the driver's seat, developing your management and administration skills to oversee the development and implementation of a range of information and communication technology (ICT) solutions.

The preferred pathway into this course involves:

  • Holding a Certificate IV in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification

  • Having vocational experience in a range of systems administration areas including systems, internet or intranet support
