As an online postgraduate unit provided by Open Universities Australia and Swinburne University, Enterprise Systems focuses on developing a theoretical framework for identifying and articulating transaction processing systems and organisational processes in traditionally structured organisations. You will analyse how the application of enterprise systems software can drive improvements in process and performance, and review a range of current literature with the aim of applying such knowledge to a practical scenario.
On completion of this unit, you will have developed an understanding of the business benefits of applying enterprise systems software to traditional organisational processes and transaction processing systems. You will also utilise problem solving and creative thinking to develop innovative solutions to potentially complex issues in the area of enterprise systems.

By applying a range of techniques and principles to realistic case studies, you will prepare for taking a leading role in real-world scenarios.
