Once you have successfully completed the unit, you will have a deep understanding of IT strategy and its dynamic nature, and be able to implement strategies within both IT-based and non-IT organisations. You will have developed a firm grounding of the way such strategies function and have evolved in a competitive, global environment.
You will be able to design and develop a business IT strategy, including analysis of requirements and stakeholder management, and understand how to implement IT strategies, in light of change and communication management. This unit will also teach you how to test the viability of IT strategies and their components, and understand legal issues affecting IT and IT strategies.
