The internet has perhaps been the most important invention of our times. From affecting politics and the way we engage with news, through to the way we ‘meet’ people and even listen to music; the pervasive presence and influence of the internet is undeniable. By studying this online Internet and Everyday Life unit, students will reflect upon and examine the social, ethical and even legal implications of the World Wide Web.
Offered by Open Universities Australia, in partnership with Curtin University, this unit is an opportunity for students to analyse the dynamic and symbiotic relationships that exist between the internet, technology and society.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP government loan schemes. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
