The online unit focuses on the key linguistic skills and written skills needed to develop and improve your Italian. As well as building on your previous knowledge, the unit aims to improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing, focusing key texts and content-based learning. Italian 2B, delivered by Open Universities Australia and the University of South Australia, looks to aid your understanding of not only Italian language, but also Italian culture. You will be encouraged to immerse yourself in contemporary Italian culture and society. There will also be an added focus on Italian immigration, and cultural representations drawn from a selection of modern Italian texts. Italian 2B will enhance your learning not just by placing you in real life situations but also by using music, film and short stories. This in turn will ensure that you are able to converse with a native speaker.
