The Business Law Research Project, provided by Open Universities Australia and Curtin University, gives students the skills to plan, execute and report on a legal topic of significance. The work produced by students will be of a publishable level and will include critical evaluation of current literature, legal cases and legislation from all over the world.
By taking part in the Business Law Research Project unit, students will gain the ability to innovate in order to develop new strategies for dealing with legal issues, through independent legal research. The unit is fully flexible and students will work independently, however they will also benefit from the guidance and supervision of a Curtin University staff member to ensure they are confident in carrying out their research.
Students should have a basic knowledge of federal and state industrial laws before enrolling in this unit.
