In this Insolvency Law unit you will become familiar with the process of insolvency and the role and duties of all parties involved. You will learn how insolvency proceedings are initiated, the different forms of administration and the effects of insolvency on the debtor.
As an online unit delivered by Open Universities Australia in partnership with RMIT University, the program provides a complete overview of insolvency law. By the end of this unit you will be able to fully understand the underlying principles of insolvency law as well as provisions relevant to the circumstances at hand.
On completion of this unit you will be familiar with relevant legislation such as the Corporations Act and the Bankruptcy Act, and be able to apply the relevant provisions to various contexts.
