About this unit

The Introduction to the Australian Legal System and Legal Methods unit from RMIT University will leave you with an overall understanding of the nation’s legal system, and the ability to conduct research to solve legal problems.

The unit, offered online by Open Universities Australia, explores the origins of Australian law and will educate you in the development and enforcement of a number of laws. You will also learn how they work in conjunction with one another.
