About this unit

Global Trade Operations covers the theories and systems of international trade. In it, you will learn about the ways in which businesses seek to gain a competitive foothold in the international economy.

This unit, provided online by Open Universities Australia and RMIT, gives you a basic understanding of the history of globalisation and how the present international economy came into being. It will teach you the logistics of international trade, and how it can be manipulated. This includes a breakdown of international production, transport and outsourcing practices.

Complete this unit with an understanding of the politics of international trade including the diplomacy and creation of tariffs, quotas and antidumping agreements.

Eligibility

Anyone can apply, however this is a level 2 unit, so some prior knowledge is assumed.
