About this unit

This online Operations and Supply Chain Management unit from Open Universities Australia and Swinburne University of Technology teaches students the strategies and business models used to produce quality goods and services efficiently and effectively, with a focus on sustainable practice.

Provided with a managerial perspective, students learn about forecasting and planning, resourcing and purchasing, inventory management systems supporting just-in-time processes, production management and lean production systems, continuous improvement and quality management, storage, logistics, and evaluations, including measurement and analysis of internal processes.
