The Bachelor of Business (Management) online course offered by Charles Sturt University is a flexible program that gives you training in a range of business management areas.
Studying this course, you will gain a variety of soft and hard skills to ready you for a career in management. You will learn about finance, law, economics, marketing, operations and project management.
You will also be able to specialise in a second area through a joint study in tourism management, hospitality, psychology, advertising, banking or information systems. This allows you to tailor your education to your career goals.
To be eligible for this course, you must meet the following:
Have an ATAR of 65, or equivalent
Have successfully completed minimum of two subjects at a university level
Have a certificate III or higher VET qualification, or equivalent
Have at least two years' relevant industry experience
Have partially completed 50% or more of a TAFE diploma-level qualification
Have successfully completed a TAFE Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC), or bridging program
Applications for distance education and postgraduate courses are accepted all year round. Provided you are eligible for admission, your application will be held for consideration in the next available intake.
Practical work placement
This course has three workplace learning subjects to give students the opportunity to undertake a business placement. These work placements allow you to utilise your theory and put it into practice.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
