This Open Universities Australia and Curtin University unit gives you the opportunity to study Leadership in Sustainability online, and the chance to familiarise yourself with the subject in a convenient manner. You will gain an understanding of all areas of organisational behaviour, and will learn about leadership theories and frameworks that can be applied across industries. You will be expected to apply these theories to sustainability.
You will have the opportunity to engage with leading sustainability professionals, building upon your foundational undergraduate education. This will also give you insight into professional experiences, with real-world challenges and real-world solutions. You will apply your knowledge of leadership theory to respected sustainability leaders, and will be expected to critically evaluate their achievements, and analyse the reasons for their success.
You will be required to undertake a project and presentation, during which you will demonstrate how leadership skills can be applied to approach a problem within sustainability of your choice.
