On completion of this hands-on project-based OUA unit, you will have a solid grounding in professional advertising practices. You will have the skills to perform developmental research and use these to create effective results-driven advertising campaigns. You will be able to show a thorough understanding of campaign implementation including media buying; you will also be able to track the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and evaluate overall campaign performance after completion.
During the unit, you will create a tangible body of work to exhibit these skills in practice and show your ability to function as part of a cohesive team. You will also be able to show experience of dealing directly with a client and building a campaign to fulfil their requirements.
Overall, this unit will enable you to add to your graduating portfolio and thereby demonstrate to prospective employers your ability to apply the advertising theory you have studied in the classroom to projects based on clients with real-world needs.
