Delivered by Endeavour College of Natural Health, this Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy) degree offers rigorous training in myotherapy, a branch of manual medicine that focuses on the treatment and management of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.
Students undertake practical classes led by qualified clinical practitioners and gain significant experience practicing examination and treatment procedures on one another, as well as honing clinical skills in patient assessment and management through teaching clinics. In addition, some subjects may be taken online to facilitate flexible learning.
Myotherapist graduates are recognised by the Health Professionals and Support Services Award (2010), and may take on career roles alongside medical practitioners, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists and naturopaths.
In order to enrol in this course, you must meet the following requirements:
Have completed Year 12
Be a mature age student without Year 12 completion, but with relevant educational history
