About this unit

Assurance Services and Regulation is an online unit that will take your knowledge of assurance services and regulation and put them into practice. Provided by RMIT University and Open Universities Australia, you will assess and analyse materials such as professional pronouncements, research papers and audit literature to learn how an auditor would undertake practical assessment.

Get involved in major research tasks that will lead to you being able to answer complex questions and present relevant solutions to a range of common problems. This unit will help you to enhance your communication and presentation skills, as a result of extensive research and analytical activity throughout your learning. For example, you will analyse auditing and assurance related information in an international context and compare these assurances and auditing environments with Australian models.
