Murdoch University's Bachelor of Science (Clinical Exercise Physiology) combines a bachelor's degree and a graduate diploma, delivering a high standard of knowledge that will prepare you to enter the healthcare profession.

You'll learn how to develop and deliver exercise and lifestyle programs to prevent and manage chronic disease and injury based on clients' individual needs. You'll develop extensive knowledge of a diverse range of conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression, cancer, arthritis, respiratory disease and more.

To be eligible for entry into this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Completed Australian senior secondary studies with an ATAR equal to or above this year's admission cut-off; OR
  • Achieved a multiple choice score of 135 or above in the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT); OR
  • Completed a recognised post-secondary course; OR
  • Completed approved university preparation (foundation) studies; OR
  • Completed at least one year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution; OR
  • Completed 2 units at an Australian university or through Open Universities Australia

If you don't meet any of these academic entry requirements, Murdoch University offers several pathways, including the FlexiTrack university preparation program, to help you qualify for this course.

All students must satisfy Murdoch University's minimum English requirements by demonstrating competency in the English Language.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
