The Cell Structure and Function unit from RMIT University will give you a solid understanding of these vital building blocks of life. You will discover the best ways to study a range of cells, while also learning what makes them so important.
The unit, offered online by Open Universities Australia, familiarises you with common units of life and the processes in which they take part. Proteins, acids, membranes and other molecular materials are all covered in this course. Common functions relating to synthesis and metabolism are also explored.
By the end of Cell Structure and Function, students will be able to confidently study cellular material and use their knowledge of the molecular world to draw conclusions.
