About this unit

If you’re looking to undertake study at university and you’re worried about the numbers side of things, then this unit will get you ready to take on more complex mathematics concepts in later subjects.

The unit is delivered online by Open Universities Australia, in partnership with Murdoch University, and covers all the basics from basic algebra to equations and trigonometric functions. It will guide you through graph functions and teach you to calculate simple limits and use product, quotient and chain rules, giving you a broad based of knowledge that you can rely on.

Each topic is taught within an introductory framework, so that year 10 maths is all that is required for you to understand the concepts.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this unit, you must have completed mathematics up to Year 10 in an Australian high school or possess equivalent knowledge.
