This fully online Astronomy and Astrophysics unit from Open Universities Australia and Swinburne University of Technology aims to enhance your understanding of astronomy and astrophysics and will teach you the core skills and techniques to excel in both fields. You will launch your own project with the skills you develop and conduct your own research using a project plan.
This unit will give an exceptionally in-depth analysis of the world and the solar system and will encourage you to explore and develop these ideas by carrying out your own research. As well as teaching the correct way to note down any findings, this unit will teach you how to write a correct report and how to summarise your work and the techniques used.
By equipping you with an understanding of the key aspects of both fields, the confidence and tools to enhance your knowledge and a free reign to conduct your own project, this unit will not only further your skills in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics, but also develop your management, research and organisational skills.
