About this unit

This Structural Equation Modelling unit from Open Universities Australia and Swinburne University of Technology demonstrates the basic theory and principles of structural equation modelling.

The unit demonstrates appropriate computer packages to design, draw and assess structural equation models.

You will also be able to argue the need for parcelling and allowance for measurement error, as well as criticise the use of reflective measurement models in formative situations.

At the successful completion of this unit, you will be able to evaluate structural equation modelling for means testing, create longitudinal models using structural equation modelling.
