About this unit

The unit investigates the development of both the private security industry and other public/government agencies as key operational and strategic players in the safety and security market.

You will also explore the idea that, until recently, the role of private security beyond night watch or loss prevention was not considered relevant.

The unit also examines the decision-makers and those who have a stake in the industry, as well as the specific components of the industry and partnerships involved.

In order to enrol in this unit, you must be accepted into one of the following courses:
