This online Tourism Enterprise Development unit from Open Universities Australia and Swinburne University of Technology focuses on individual enterprises in the tourism chain.
Students will learn to employ informed perspectives on the reasons for, and best approaches to, the classification of attractions, and the importance of good design to attraction appeal.
On successful completion of this unit, you will be able to explain the processes involved in conducting feasibility studies for and managing the developing visitor attraction projects.
You will also be able to describe key elements of tourist motivation and distance pull, and provide informed predictions about the future of visitor attractions.
