Begin your career as a workplace safety adviser with the Certificate IV Work Health and Safety (5-day course) (BSB41415) offered by Line Management Institute of Training (LMIT).

Relevant to a wide variety of workplaces, this 5-day workshop will give you the practical skills and knowledge to return to your work ready to implement key workplace health and safety procedures.

You'll become familiar with workplace health and safety laws and practise skills essential to reducing workplace risk, including risk related to noise, dangerous goods, ergonomics and confined spaces. With this qualification, you'll provide critical support to ensure your workplace is safe, healthy and compliant.

The on-campus workshop is complemented by take-home assessments that you can work through at your own pace, including practical assessments conducted in your workplace, designed to practically assist your business in becoming a safety-conscious workplace.

There are no entry requirements for this course, however having some experience in work health and safety is highly desirable.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may be available for skills and knowledge obtained through previous study or other relevant experience.
