About this course

Gain a solid foundation in workplace health and safety practices with the Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51315) Pathway course. Delivered online by Open Colleges on behalf of Integrated Safety Training, this program combines both the Statement of Attainment in Work Health and Safety, and the Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51315) for those with no prior experience or training in WHS.

As WHS laws have expanded to mirror changes to the modern workplace, keeping up to date with WHS processes and systems is a must for any organisation. With this course under your belt, you'll be highly sought after by any company.

These nationally recognised qualifications will provide you with the training to recognise and minimise health and safety hazards in your workplace. You'll also gain a comprehensive understanding of how to develop and implement WHS policies and systems, and effectively communicate these to personnel at all levels within your organisation.

Practical work placement

This certificate includes a mandatory work placement of at least 75 hours, in order to acquire essential practical skills. You will be required to source your own placement with an organisation involved in the delivery of WHS services.
