OHSE Auditing will teach you everything you need to know about implementing an effective occupational health, safety and environment (OHSE) management system in the workplace. You will learn about OHSE theory, current management standards, the principles of risk management, and the wider legislative context.
You will gain the skills necessary to set up an OHSE system, from creating the framework and collecting evidence, to assessing the risks, and analysing and reporting results. You will learn audit interview skills, how to lead an audit team, and how to communicate effectively with colleagues and other OHSE professionals.
This online unit is provided over 13 weeks through Open Universities Australia and the Australian Catholic University. It is designed to give you a thorough understanding of the audit process, as well as the practical skills required to carry out an audit in a professional environment.
