Occupational health, safety and environmental (OHSE) management is a fundamental aspect of any effective workplace. This unit, provided online by Open Universities Australia and the Australian Catholic University, delivers a comprehensive introduction to OHSE management.
Principles of OHSE Management will equip you with all of the fundamental concepts and language behind OHSE. With these tools you will be become effective at communicating OHSE issues to staff members and other occupational health and safety professionals.
As well as developing your knowledge and technical understanding of OHSE, this unit will also provide practical management training from both a legislative and human management perspective. You will learn to effectively monitor OHSE risks and effectively communicate these issues using a range of mediums. Learn to assess your own workplace or working environment for OHSE issues and in turn achieve confidence in educating and training others in OHSE management.
