About this unit

In Creative Writing: Narrative and Structure, delivered online by OUA with Macquarie University, you will expand on basic writing theory and techniques learnt in the introductory unit Creative Writing. You will learn to further develop your creative writing skills by focusing on the essentials of fiction such as narrative and story structure. You’ll be asked to write a few short stories or some poetry in this unit.

You will also workshop your own and your classmate’s writing and undertake the required reading and assessments throughout the duration of this unit. You will be assessed on both your creative content as well as how well you engage with weekly workshops and group discussions.
