Thompson’s Bar and Grill is seeking a skilled and talented person to fulfill the role of assistant manager.

You will support the general manager with the day-to-day operations of this busy venue. Your strong communication and leadership skills will see you effectively support your team of staff to provide top-quality customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

rostering and positioning of staff
training and development of the team
invoicing, balancing tills and checking time sheets
online ordering of stock and regular stock takes
effectively managing people
maintaining the service and cleanliness of the bar and restaurant
monitoring and maintaining company standards.

This position would suit an enthusiastic and motivated hospitality professional with experience within a similar role or someone looking to take the next step up.

experience within a service-based industry
exposure to understanding variances and cost of goods
the want to generally assist people to have a great experience
the ability to adhere to guidelines and internal processes
a hands-on approach.
