Are you in the process of considering different careers and intrigued by what’s involved in various industries? Ever grappled with the possibility of graphic design, or mulled over management and business? Perhaps you’re tickled by thoughts of a tourism career, or excited by venues and events? Now is the time to find out what a career in each of these dynamic industries is all about.

Martin College, together with an array of industry experts, will be hosting a Careers Showcase on 30 January 2013 at both their Sydney and Brisbane campuses.

Aimed at demystifying these competitive and in-demand professions, the showcase provides a platform for attendees to ask the hard questions and get sound advice, tips and information from industry experts. The evening’s highlight is a panel presentation featuring some of the leading authorities in business, technology and design.

Attendees will also be provided with light refreshments after the presentation, as well as the invaluable opportunity to meet directly with the speakers and Martin College staff.

Tracy Holmstrand studied the Diploma of Venues and Events at Martin College, describing her education as ‘life-changing’.

‘I’ve gained insight into the industry that has prepared me for what to expect in the “real world”. It’s not all glitz and glamour, but I have certainly had my passion ignited to begin a successful career in this industry.’

If you could do with your own dose of career enthusiasm and professional guidance, then head over to the Martin College Careers Showcase to find out more.

Spaces are strictly limited, so remember to RSVP and secure your spot.
