IDP International Student Exhibition – life in the land down under

by Sophie Brown, Posted: 11 September 2008

Kangaroos ahead street sign Life as an international student in Australia can be daunting. Enrolments, registrations and other bureaucratic processes faced by international students, sometimes only days after stepping off the plane, can be a challenge to conquer, even if you’re familiar with the customs and language. Some of the tricky questions faced by international students will be addressed in Sydney this month at the International Student Exhibition.

Organised by IDP Education, the exhibition will bring together students from 22 universities around the country to provide advice on studying and working in Australia.

The day’s seminars include information about general skilled migration (GSM) applications, visa options and conditions, moving to the Northern Territory, and how to become a certified public accountant (CPA).

The International Student Exhibition will take place at the Sydney Masonic Centre on Friday 19 September. More information and the registration form are available at www.idp.com, or call IDP on 1300 788 3368.
