I gained a good understanding of the wide variety of skills necessary for emergency nursing and also the pace of the ED. I developed a keen interest in emergency nursing and hope to specialise in this area.

	Springdale Aged Care Home During this placement I worked in the emergency department, oncology ward and surgery. I learned how to keep a cool head when things get busy and developed techniques on how to manage patients with very different special needs.
