I knew that I didn't want to go to uni and, like Rebecca, I'm also allergic to study.
After leaving school I landed a full-time job as a vet nurse, which I loved until I found out that a vet nurse is a fancy name for ‘cleaner’. I then got a job in a company as a receptionist and soon worked my way up to become office manager, proving that you don't need a degree to be successful, but hard work and determination are key steps towards a fulfilling career.
During this time I married the man of my dreams and we have since started our family. I am the proud mother of my beautiful daughter, Kirra, who has given me a whole new look on life. Being a mother is the hardest job that I have ever had but it definitely has the most rewards!
After 14 months maternity leave I thought that it was time to find myself a part-time job. I really enjoy my very varied role at Career FAQs. It’s a fantastic team to be a part of.
