To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Have completed secondary education or a higher education course since leaving secondary education, including a university bridging course; OR
  • Have enrolled in a VET course, whether you have completed the course or not; OR
  • Have completed a Certificate IV; OR
  • Have professional or work experience that can demonstrate your readiness for higher education; OR
  • Have completed non-formal programs that help you prepare for higher education.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $55,874 (2017-18 income year).
