About this course

The Certificate III in Business, offered by Benchmark College, prepares students to work in the business environment. Delivered as a traineeship, it equips students with the knowledge base and range of skills they need to pursue business and office-based careers.

As a business student, you'll learn how to work effectively with people, building strong workplace relationships and providing high-level customer service. You'll also delve into how to design business documents and ways to promote innovation in the workplace.

This course consists of one core unit and a range of electives to suit a range of job roles, and includes a variety of assessment methods.

This course has flexible delivery options;

  • School-based Traineeships - which allow year 10, 11 and 12 high school students to commence or complete a traineeship at school.
  • Employment-based Traineeship - all training and assessments are conducted in the workplace so that you learn on the job in a practical and relevant way.

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Candidates must have a Unique Student Identifier; AND
  • Candidates must complete an LLN quiz upon entry.
