About this course

The Diploma of Business from Benchmark College is a comprehensive course that equips students with well-developed skills in a wide range of business areas, increasing employment and further education opportunities.

You'll build on your existing business skills and knowledge, further learning methods of evaluating information and problem-solving effectively in order to carry out key business functions. Whether you want to learn how to manage business marketing and communications; develop business plans, systems and procedures; or plan and manage aspects such as payroll, meetings and conferences, this course is for you.

The program consists of eight elective units of competency, with a large and comprehensive range of units available covering a variety of job roles. A range of assessment activities will be carried out to allow you to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and competencies you have developed.

This course is an employment-based traineeship, with all training and assessment conducted in the workplace, so that you learn on the job in a practical and relevant way.

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Must have a Unique Student Identifier; AND
  • Must complete a LLN quiz upon entry; AND
  • Must meet certain entry criteria if applying for a VET Student Loan.
