Eligibility

TrainSmart Australia will assess a student’s ‘academic suitability’ to ensure the student has the best
chance of success. This is determined by either:

  • The student providing TrainSmart Australia with a copy of an Australian year 12 certificate; OR,
  • The student providing TrainSmart Australia with a copy of a completed Certificate IV qualification that can be verified; OR,
  • The student completing the Core Skills Profile for Adults online assessment passing at or above Exit Level 3 in the Australian Core Skills Framework in both reading and numeracy.

Module 2: Community Services Essentials Part 2

  • CHCLEG003 Manage legal and ethical compliance
  • CHCMGT005 Facilitate workplace debriefing and support processes
  • CHCPRP003 Reflect on and improve own professional practice
  • HLTWHS004 Manage work health and safety

Module 3: Community Services Essentials Part 3

  • HLTWHS006 Manage personal stressors in the work environment
  • CHCCCS019 Recognise and respond to crisis situations
  • CHCPOL003 Research and apply evidence to practice
  • CHCDIV002 Promote Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural safety
