About this course

The Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management (CHC62015), offered by Practical Outcomes, is the ideal course for those who hold a management position within a community sector organisation, and wish to advance their skills and career opportunities.

Throughout the course, you'll learn how to manage risk, innovation and continuous improvement; develop, implement and review quality frameworks; develop and implement workplace communication strategies and policies; lead organisational change; and much more.

This course is available to people who currently hold a management/supervisory role within a community sector organisation. Over 18 months, the course is delivered entirely in the workplace through a qualified trainer, who will provide you with individual training, assessment and support.


To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Hold a management/supervisory role within a community sector organisation such as a child care service; OR
  • If you are not in a management/supervisory role you will need to have employer support (via an endorsement form) to be able to complete a range of tasks within the workplace.
