This nationally recognised workplace-based course prepares students to provide individualised, client-centred care to those with needs stemming from chronic illness or disability. You'll learn everything from recognising healthy body systems in a diverse range of clients, to providing mental health support and facilitating clients' empowerment and community participation.

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Your Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills must meet required standards for Certificate IV level study; AND
  • A current National Police Check will be required for practical placement in an Aged Care facility; AND
  • Completion of course requirements form.
