About this course

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113), offered by Practical Outcomes, provides students with an entry-level qualification to work as an educator in early childhood care.

Throughout the course, you'll develop the knowledge and skills necessary for working with young children in education, playgroup and day care environments. You'll learn the legal, ethical, health and safety requirements of providing care for babies, toddlers and young children, and you'll discover ways to develop positive relationships and provide experiences to support play and learning.

This course is delivered through workplace/distance training mode. A qualified trainer will provide you with individual training and assessment in your workplace, as well as providing phone and email support. You'll also be allocated a workplace coach, and you'll be assessed through short answer questions, projects, workplace tasks and observations in the workplace.
