Start an exciting career designing, building and maintaining large offshore structures with this Bachelor of Engineering (Marine and Offshore Engineering) Honours course from Edith Cowan University.
Designed for students with no prior experience seeking to start a career in engineering, this qualification offers the essential skills, knowledge and experience required to work in the exciting field of maritime and offshore engineering. The area of engineering that designs, manufactures, deploys and commissions systems associated with the marine and offshore oil and gas industries, offshore engineering equips students for exciting careers working with the huge machinery that helps our resource sector.
In this course, you’ll develop advanced knowledge of the large-scale mechanical and electro-mechanical systems used in the oil and gas industries, including gas turbine generators, oil and gas rigs, and fuel-injected engines, and will graduate with the skills to promote new energy sources, improve crude oil extraction, and make maritime systems more efficient.
This course will also equip you with industry-relevant skills in teamwork, leadership and problem-solving, giving you the opportunity to develop strong skills in analysis, critical thinking and project management.
This qualification is accredited by Engineers Australia and is recognised nationally.
