About this course

The Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, offered by AA Poly, prepares students to become future leaders and senior managers in the hospitality and tourism industries. Building on the foundational knowledge and skills of the Diploma in Hospitality Management, this advanced course enables students to expand and refine their skills in order to pursue senior management positions in fast-paced, prestigious businesses.

Core units explore financial management of an organisation as a whole; development of custom operational plans and business strategies; management of physical assets; recruitment, selection and induction of staff; and marketing concepts within the industry. Students also undertake electives in order to specialise in areas of interest.

Graduates will be equipped with the wider, more comprehensive business understanding and skillset necessary for higher management roles in a variety of hospitality areas.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management from AA Poly.

Graduates will be prepared to work at the advanced standard required to obtain higher management roles within any hospitality area, such as Restaurant, Hotel or Resort Manager, Senior Duty Manager or a Senior Supervisor. Graduates can also apply for higher education qualifications with Federation University, including the Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
