About this course

The Diploma of Information Technology from AA Poly equips students to pursue careers in the ever-growing IT industry. Through this course, you'll develop a broad range of technical skills and knowledge that will enable you to work in high-level IT support, or a specialist area such as programming or web development.

The course encompasses core units exploring the fundamentals of ICT, as well as elective specialisation options that enable you to develop your skills in a particular area of interest. Specialised areas of study include networking, database development, desktop programming and web development.

In-class learning is delivered by industry experienced teachers, and includes technical projects, written assignments, in-class discussions and group work.

Where Will It Lead Me?

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Diploma of Information Technology from AA Poly.

Students will graduate ready to immediately enter roles in the IT industry, such as ICT support or administration, web development, desktop programming, database design or network design. The course is a standalone qualification, but can also be used as a stepping stone to the Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or a tertiary degree.
