How to Get In

To be eligible to study this degree, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor degree from a recognised university or tertiary education institution with a minimum GPA of 4.0.

An alternative entry pathway exists for applicants without a bachelor degree. Complete the Graduate Certificate in International Law Practice from Griffith University with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and then continue to the Master of International Law.

Depending on the nature of your previous experience, you may be eligible to receive credit towards your degree on the basis of previous study in a related area.

You may be eligible to receive FEE-HELP for this course!

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
