Update your knowledge of psychology and explore where research will take us next in the single course unit, 21st Century Applications of Psychology, led by Monash Online.
This unit explores how our approach to understanding and applying psychology is influenced by the changes taking place in our society. You’ll look at six psychological areas that are affected by contemporary trends (such as the selfies epidemic, same-sex families, psychological perspectives in terrorism, cross-cultural approaches to therapy, cyber-bullying, and the psychology of work).
Broaden your horizons and expand your skills. On completion of this course, you’ll be equipped to discuss and evaluate how psychological research is progressing today and in the future, and to identify how psychological evidence can advance and inform change in individuals and society.
To be eligible to study this psychology unit, applicants must have completed:
- An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with a major in psychology; OR
- A Graduate Diploma in Psychology
