About this course

The Bachelor of Environmental Science course offered by Charles Sturt University provides you with the skills and knowledge to play an important role in environmental management.

This online course has a strong emphasis on solid field instruction and application to real-world situations. In addition to fully equipped laboratory facilities, students will be exposed to a range of state-of-the-art field equipment and software.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the criteria to be eligible to enter this program:

  • Have completed the Higher School Certificate or equivalent

OR

  • Have completed or part-completed a course from a university, college of advanced education, TAFE college or other accredited tertiary or post-secondary institution

OR

  • Have sufficient and relevant work experience

If you are an Australian citizen you may be eligible to receive HECS-HELP, meaning you can defer payment of your course fees. Additionally, if you are an Australian resident you may also be eligible to receive Austudy/Abstudy or Youth Allowance.

CSU provides access to a range of scholarships and loans to help its students with the costs associated with university study.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $55,874 (2017-18 income year).
