Where Will It Lead Me?

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Western Sydney University.

This qualification will equip you with the skills, knowledge and experience required to seek work as a speech pathologist. You may choose to seek work in a hospital, clinic or private practice setting. You may also choose to specialise your practice to work with children, as a paediatric speech pathologist.

How Much Will It Cost?

Western Sydney University offers flexible payment options for students.

If you are an Australian citizen, you may be eligible to receive a government HECS-HELP loan, meaning you can defer payment of your fees. Alternatively, you can pay your degree fees upfront.

HECS-HELP You may be eligible to receive HECS-HELP for this course!

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $45,881 (2019-20 income year).
